An air purifier is a must-have for parents

Today I’m sharing some #ParentingEssentials! Since becoming a mom, all my spending goes toward my child. While in the postpartum care center, I was constantly looking for air purifiers. After all, the outdoor air is just too scary now; at the very least, the air the baby breathes at home must be clean. Plus, with the pandemic, it made me even more determined to add one to our home.

Since I mainly wanted to place this in the living room of our Taipei home—which is connected to the dining room, making it a quite large space—a single-function air purifier didn't feel like it would be enough. Because this unit also has an air circulator, it can push purified air throughout the indoor space. It can also be operated with a 90-degree vertical and 80-degree horizontal oscillation, which really fits our family's needs!

Most importantly, this unit is SGS-certified to remove bacteria and formaldehyde from the air. If it weren't for having a baby, I wouldn't have cared about the issue of formaldehyde, but since having a baby, I’ve realized how much impact formaldehyde can have on infants! That's why I think the function of an air purifier being able to remove bacteria and formaldehyde is very important.

The acerpure cool has been in our home for a while now! So far, it has only turned red once, when I was cleaning the living room and stirring up dust! It’s usually green, meaning the air quality in our home is pretty good. Plus, it comes with a remote control! It’s so convenient—you can operate it from far away!

When it arrived, it didn't require any assembly at all; the filters were already installed! You can just plug it in and use it immediately. Only the included Ag+ silver ion anti-viral filter needs to be attached by yourself, which is quite simple. The outer blue layer of the filter is the 'Pre-filter', and the inner white layer is the 'High-efficiency HEPA13 filter'. The additional 'Ag+ silver ion anti-viral filter' has Velcro and can be attached directly to the outermost layer of the filter. Although this is mainly used in the living room, we also take it to the bedroom when sleeping, and it has a quiet sleep mode, so light sleepers don't have to worry!
